DESIGN RATIONALE

The design for this eAdvert aims to celebrate the vibrant and intricate world of Indian wedding fabrics. I wanted to create an immersive visual experience that honors the rich cultural traditions of India, particularly through the fabrics used in weddings. From the exquisite detail of the bride's sari to the groom's sherwani, and the unique textiles adorning ceremonial animals and instruments, this exhibit brings to life the diverse traditions found across India’s states.

This project allowed me to express my appreciation for the vibrant tradition of Indian weddings and my passion for character design and digital painting. The title "Wedding Threads of India" is written in both English and Hindi (विवाह के धागे) to highlight the cultural fusion of the exhibition. This eAdvert serves as a visual gateway, inviting visitors to explore the beauty and cultural significance of Indian wedding attire and textiles.
